This page provides information to stakeholders about our school's finances
and operation for School Year
Our School community Council (SCC) is made up of principal, teachers,
staff, students, parents, and volunteer community members.
An election is held annually to set membership on the SCC.

About Federal Title 1 Funding
These funds help all students by providing- training for teachers to keep them current and learn new material, assistance and support for parents, programs and equipment that affect the entire student body.
The Federal Government determines the amount of funding for the school based on the number of students who qualify for Free or Reduced lunch.
It is very important for all parents and guardians to complete the form in order to maximize the funding Konawaena receives.
Many parents do not complete the form because their student does not eat the meals the school provides, or for other reasons.
If you qualify, it is your decision whether you use the benefit, so please take the time to apply:

You will need to apply at the beginning of each new school year.
You can apply either on the hard copy form that is sent home at the beginning of the school year, or online (see the button below)
Your income information is confidential and not shared with the school.
