Konawaena high school Driver's Education program services 100 students a year who are 15 1/2 years old with a valid driving permit. A Mandatory Parent Night is the first class held on a Wednesday night from 6-7:30 pm at KHS Cafe. Both parents and student need to attend to discuss the driving program for a clear understanding of what parents and students can expect from the class and driving sessions. Konawaena high school offers Driver Education classes three times a year 1) Starting August or September, 2) January and 3) March. Class times are after school from 4:30-6:00pm on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Friday (No Wednesday classes or school holidays). Driving with students are scheduled with the students and their driving instructor for 6 sessions of 3 hours each lesson (three students in a group and one hour each student).
