Personal Transition Plan

A requirement for all high school graduates, the Personal Transition Plan (PTP) is each student's plan of action to transition from high school to college and careers. Student, parent and school personnel have a shared responsibility in the development and execution of the PTP during high school. The elements are:
  • self-evaluation component
  • goal attainment
  • identification of available resources
  • evidence to support the plan of action taken

Awarding of Credit: 0.50 credit shall be issued at the end of the first semester of the terminal year and noted on the student's official transcript as either credit or no credit for meeting the elements of the PTP.

11th & 12th Grade PTP Requirements
During Junior Year, students will complete a PTP Choice Form and determine a pathway they want to pursue after high school:   Educational, Workforce or Military

Once the student chooses their pathway, they will be assigned a google folder with their 11th and 12th Grade PTP requirements.  All work for will be completed online in google docs.

When 9th thru 12th grade PTP documents are completed, the student will need to complete an interview to receive the PTP 0.5 credit.
