Treatment and Rehab

Finding out your teen is addicted

If you found out that your child is using nicotine, marijuana, alcohol or any other drugs, the first thing to do is sit down and take a deep breath. We understand it is scary and difficulty. It is important to prepare for the conversation for a more positive outcome. Having mellow conversation can help teens open up about their concerns and reasons, instead of yelling and making them close up even more. The next step is Therapists, pediatricians, or addiction specialists that can help diagnose a teen drug problem. Even if the teen doesn't want the help, they need it, and one day they will thank you. No one said this journey would be easy. There will be withdrawal symptoms  include irritability, fatigue, shaking, sweating, insomnia and nausea. It is possible for them to be sober but, there is a probability for them to get addicted again. The process will be difficult but not impossible with support and guidance. Don't wait until its too late!

Do you want to change?

I am a teenage student who understands how confusing it is to be a teen. At this age, all we need is love, support, and someone to talk to about what is going on with our life. Sometimes we are going through difficult times and we don't receive support which makes drugs seem as the only answer. NO! STOP! Think and reflect how drugs are not helping with your problems but they are just giving you more problems with your family. I understand if you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents, but seek professional help. They wont judge you, they will listen, and they will help you overcome the urge for any drug you have. It is never too late to quit and begin a healthy, happy, and successful life. YOU CAN DO IT!
