KAILUA KONA PIER MURAL PROJECT 2007

Sponsored by Destination Kona Coast, the Kailua Kona Pier Barriers are being transformed with images of
dolphins, turtles, canoes and Hawaiian Fish. The designs for the decorative mural are by Michelle Obregon,
and volunteers are helping along with students from Konawaena High School. The following pictures
illustrate the process of the mural. Painting started July 28, and the mural is planned to be completed
