Seniors, The Rotary Club of Kona Mauka Scholarship Application for 2012 Graduates is available in G221. One scholarship form covers all the scholarships offered by the Rotary Club of Kona Mauka. Students will be judged on scholarship, community involvement, letters of recommendation, quality of essay and financial need.
-Wayne Hedemann Memorial Scholarship Award-$2000 ($1000 per year for 2 years)
-Annual Orelup Family Scholarship Award-$2000 ($1000 per year for 2 years)
-Annual Cou Family Scholarship Award - $2000 ($1000 per year for 2 years)
-Annual Mrs. Shizuko Teshima Scholarship Award-$1000
-Annual Val Izuno Memorial Scholarship Award-$1000
-Annual Vocational Person of the Year Scholarship Award-$500
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Graduating Senior at Konawaena High School
2. Active participation in school and community activities
3. Will attend an institution of higher learning (colleges and universities, professional schools in such fields as law, medicine, business, music, and art, teacher-training schools, community colleges, vocational schools such as culinary arts etc., and institutes of technology.
4. Financial Need
5. Family members of Rotarians are not eligible.
Please give the completed form and required supporting documentation to Mr. Hashimoto no later than APRIL 3, 2012.

Seniors with outstanding school and extra curricular activities can apply for the Lions Club of Kona Scholarship Award. Applications in G221, deadline is APRIL 20th.
